What does an IT Network Admin do?
- Comprehensive management and maintenance of our network infrastructure (LAN/WAN), including active network elements (routers, switches, Wi-Fi) and firewalls.
- Network security – administration and configuration of remote access services (VPN, RDP, IP-SEC) and monitoring of security policy adherence.
- Monitoring – oversight and maintenance of monitoring and security systems (e.g., Zabbix, MS Defender, WSUH) for proactive incident resolution.
- Administration of key network services (DNS, DHCP, Radius) and support for Microsoft Active Directory management in the context of network access.
- Ensuring the functionality of related critical infrastructure, such as internet lines, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), and electrical installations for servers.
- User support in resolving network-related technical issues at L2/L3 level.
What do we expect from you?
- Proven experience in managing and configuring firewalls and network security rules.
- Strong practical knowledge of network protocols, technologies, and monitoring/security systems.
- Proactive approach to securing the IT environment.
- Good level of English.
- Ability to balance operational and planned work.
Nice to haves
- Certifications in networking (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik) or security (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
- Experience with virtualization management (VMware, Hyper-V) or backup tools (VEEAM).
- Experience with SaaS integration into on-premise deployments.
- Experience with Windows, Linux, MAC OS.
- Interest in the game development workflows.
